Best Things About a Producing a Ballet During the Pandemic

We know this year has been really hard on everyone, and it’s been an incredible feat of resilience on all our parts to come together to still do what we love, especially ballet. So, we wanted to be in the spirit of gratitude and recognize some of the positives about this unusual production season.

Face masks can be beautiful

Our costume design team took good care to match and enhance the dancers costumes, and we are pleased with the outcome! We hope you like them, too.

 Cleaning is caring

As we worked to provide the safest environment for staff and dancers over the last nine months, we realized that extra COVID protocols brought the CBA family even closer together, for the common good. These extra efforts have not gone unnoticed and our ballet community has continued to celebrate good health.

Video production is awesome

We enjoyed filming at several different locations for The Nutcracker and love the learning that came along with figuring out the best way to bring the show to homes in our community. We’re quite happy that we can all have a video keepsake, and that this year was documented in such a beautiful and unique way through the dedication of our staff and dancers.
